Prof. Deirdre Ní Fhaoláin

Professor Ní Fhaoláin is a registered nurse and academic with over 25 years of experience in elderly care and healthcare education. She was instrumental in developing Coriander University's QQI Level 5 healthcare programmes and has strong relationships with community care providers across the region. Her research focuses on improving quality of life for older adults in rural settings, and she is a board member of a national elderly care charity.

Social Inequality, Class & Urban Change

Prof. Maura Tóibín

Professor Tóibín is a highly regarded sociologist whose work examines the effects of urban regeneration on working-class communities in Irish cities. She has authored two books and over 40 peer-reviewed articles, and is a regular commentator in national media on issues of housing, poverty, and social policy. She joined Coriander University in 2015 and has been Head of the School of Humanities since 2020.

Climate Systems & Atmospheric Science

Prof. Séamus Harrington

Professor Harrington is one of Ireland's foremost authorities on Atlantic climate systems. He has contributed to IPCC working groups and advised government departments on climate adaptation policy. He has been with Coriander University since its founding and is the principal investigator on several EU-funded research projects examining long-term climate data from the west coast of Ireland.

Mr. Tadhg Ó Briain

Tadhg brings over 15 years of hands-on experience in enterprise software development to his teaching. Before joining academia, he held senior engineering roles at several fintech startups. He teaches modules in Software Engineering Principles and Databases, and is particularly passionate about bridging the gap between industry practice and academic learning.
